Playboy editor Hugh Hefner says Miley Cyrus will be "welcomed in the magazine" when she's of legal age.
Hefner, 82, told Extra that the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star is a "very pretty lady."
Last week Cyrus said she was "embarrassed" by a racy semi-topless portrait shot by Annie Leibowitz for Vanity Fair.
"I think to make such a big to do over something as innocent as those photos, I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality," Hefner told Extra.

The two-year-old joined parents Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes for the Broadway show Hairspray May 2 — because she loves the flick!
"Suri was so sweet in her little velvet and taffeta dress," the show's star, Jenifer Lewis told the New York Daily News Friday.
Cruise and Holmes surprised Lewis by telling her that Hairspray is Suri's favorite video.
The actress didn't expect to see the famous pair at that night. "I turned and there was Tom Cruise saying to me, 'Oh my God, you're wonderful!'" Lewis said.
The next day, Cruise sent the cast flowers and a basket of treats from New York City's famous Dylan's Candy Bar.

The “SexyBack” crooner is helming a reality series for MTV billed as a "real life Bourne Identity” called The Phone, the network announced Friday.
Each episode beings with two hidden cell phones ringing on opposite ends of a major city. Once picked up, a "mysterious guide gives contestants five seconds to concede whether or not they wish to play the game for a chance of winning a huge cash prize," MTV said in a statement.
Afterwards, the players work against each other on various missions while keeping in touch with the guide via cell phone, and being followed by a helicopter hovering above.
The show, which is based off a Dutch series of the same name, is slated to premiere this fall.

]]>Tom Cruise made a surprise message for Barbara Walters on the occasion of her 50th anniversary in television.
The actor said in a taped clip broadcast Wednesday: "Do you realize that on October 4,1976, when you became the first woman ever to anchor the evening news... that that moment in time would forever empower other women to reach for their goals in any field that they chose?"
He also called Walters a "leading force for women not only in the newsroom but the world at large" (Watch above).
Walters responded with a giggle, "Oh, Tommy baby! How nice!"
Walters just published her memoir, Audition, in which she writes about her affair with a married senator and why Star Jones left The View.

]]>Britney Spears surprised "Rock The Cradle" contestants Thursday night by unexpectedly showing up for the season finale to support her former manager and friend Larry Rudolph.
"Rock The Cradle" pits aspiring pop stars, who have rock and roll in their DNA, against one another. The finale, which was broadcast on MTV, featured Jess Blaze Snider, son of Dee Snider; Crosby Loggins, son of Kenny Loggins; and Chloe Lattanzi, daughter of Olivia Newton John. Rudolph judged the competition.
Spears spent the duration of the show seated backstage surrounded by security. After the show, Rudolph told usmagazine.com, "She was here to support the show. I mentioned to her that I was going to my show. She said, ‘I want to come down.’ She loved it. She really loved it. She didn't come here for publicity or anything like that. She came here because she wanted to see the show, which I appreciated."
Spears headed to the show after spending the day with her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston. It was the first extended visit since she, along with her parents Lynne and Jamie Spears, appeared in Los Angeles County Superior Court Tuesday for a custody hearing, where she was granted extended visitation rights by Commissioner Scott Gordon.

"[James Wilkie, 5,] only wears hand-me-downs because I’ve got all these older nephews,” Parker, 43, says in the newest issue of Parade magazine.
“That’s the God’s honest truth," swears the Sex and the City star. "Plus, my mother saved all my brothers’ clothes. I am not kidding. I don’t think I’ve ever bought him any clothes. Maybe a new winter's coat…."
But just like her footwear obsessed SATC character Carrie Bradshaw, James Wilkie gets new shoes!
"I do buy him shoes, because everybody's feet are different," says Parker.
Parker grew up as one of eight siblings in an impoverished family, and doesn't want her son to be spoiled.
"I think that if I had been raised a child of privilege, I wouldn’t be the working person I am today," she says. "I think it’s incumbent on my husband [Matthew Broderick] and me to really stress and to show James Wilkie by example what it means to owe your community something and that he is not entitled to the benefits of our hard work.
"That doesn’t mean that I’m withholding or keeping from him the joys of childhood — I’m not Joan Crawford," she stresses. "But I also don’t want him to think the world he lives in is the real world. It’s not.”
Parker, who says she's more comfortable in the role of James Wilkie's mother than any other on-screen, insists on being a hands-on mother.
"I put him to bed every night. I get him dressed. I'm the one who gives him his toothbrush. I take him to school every morning," Parker says. "He's very small, but his personality is 6 foot 4."
Her day-to-day is a far cry from Bradshaw's glamorous life, which she portrayed on HBO for six years. Parker says her co-stars have also grown up in the movie, which hits theaters May 30.
“Carrie and Charlotte and Miranda and Samantha aren’t young anymore,” Parker says. “Their lives are much less frivolous. They can’t cope with their problems by putting on their sweats and staying up all night and ordering in food and gossiping about the men in their lives.
"There is less self-absorption but perhaps a little more self-awareness," she adds.

It's "something I might do one day!" the 30 Rock star says in an interview airing Sunday on CBS' 60 Minutes.
"There's other things I want to do," besides acting, adds Baldwin, 50. "There's no age limit on running for office, to a degree."
Baldwin also speaks out about calling his 12-year-old daughter Ireland "a thoughtless little pig" on her voicemail last year after becoming enraged when she skipped a planned phone call.
"You can pretty much bet all you own that I would never leave another voicemail message for my daughter that wasn't just like something out of a Rodgers and Hammerstein score," he says.

"Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation," their rep said.
"They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family's privacy be respected at this time," the rep added.
The actress, 30, married the Arckid rocker, 36, in 2003.
Us had reported two weeks ago that the couple – who have a son, Milo, 3 – were talking divorce. Tyler's rep had no comment at the time.
A source overheard the actress seeking advice from a lawyer on the phone.
"In the conversation, she complained about her husband being a 'leech' on her assets, and she said she got married too young," the source told Us.
Tyler – who said in 2004, "I don't believe in divorce" – told Us in February she had forgotten about Valentine's Day.

The 27-year-old rapper/actor, who wed Mariah Carey last week in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas, let the world catch a glimpse of the bling as he left his hotel.
Carey, 38, and Cannon tied the knot April 30.
Before their wedding, Carey had the words "Mrs. Cannon" tattooed on her back, Oprah Winfrey said Wednesday.
The singer is scheduled to perform at Time magazine's "Time 100" party Thursday night in NYC.
